If she were cussing or saying things that were contrary to the what is allowable on television, then yes, bleep her. <BR/><BR/>I'm certainly not advocating government interference in any way and certainly not to force Fox to air it. I would like to see more of that sort of thing.<BR/><BR/>However, to be perfectly fair, Fox airs the Emmy Awards and, therefore, has the right to air or not air whatever they damn well please. This is not an issue of free speech. If the government were censoring this, then it would be an issue of free speech because the Government has no ownership over Fox. I'm sure that if Fox aired Kathy's comments that they would suffer financially due to pressures from advertising. I doubt that Fox cares about much more than how much they can make off broadcasting the Emmy Awards.<BR/><BR/>Alternatively, if the government were to force Fox to air Kathy Griffin's full speech, *that* would be in direct violation of free speech because it would force Fox to express something that they would otherwise choose not to express.
